ghost howls

Noonday sun burns through the skylight,
Brown eyes open wide with ire
   Upon hearing faraway
  a siren from an ambulance
     Sent into a daze,a trance
She felt it rising in her throat
            A strangled howl,marred with emotion
Her frail mind struggles with devotion
                To her spectral lupine friends
              She unleashes her inner wolf.

Yaay!Another poem!

*crickets*
So I bought a thermos. It's all good except I'm amazed how an entire can of soup will fit in that tiny thing. We'll see.*evil laugh*

Green

Hello my victims!!!!!!!I was feeling emo so my mom dragged me to the park today with one of my dad's beloved cameras and when we got there the memory card was all the way back home in the computer. But it was okay cuz we went back and got it.Hurrah!...And if you'll see the third photo in this post, you'll notice that it's cedar.Oh joy, beloved cedar which hath tortured me in so many ugly ways.Eh.Twitch of discomfort.A haiku for your enjoyment below.

                                                    Reach out from the roots
                                                     pulling through the loose,damp soil
                                                          a trace of spring green

I'm not very good at haikus (;

A moth's memory

Hello my victims!..OH EM GEE IT'S FRICKIN' COLD OUT THERE.What I mean is that there's a lot of ice around my backyard and that doesn't happen too often in Austin so uggghhhhhhhh.Anyways,on to something completely different,a few years ago some scientists did a test on tobacco hornworm caterpillars. They put one in a Y-shaped tube, and in one of the Y's branches there was a mix of particular odors that affected the caterpillars with a mild electric shock.Scientists at Georgetown University trained the caterpillars to avoid the odors. When they hatched out of their cocoons as moths, the moths also avoided the odors, proving that the larval memory was still intact. In other words, they REMEMBERED what they had done as a larva.Pretty damn awesome.Excuse me for swearing.Bye<3<3

Sere feathers

                                     Just this afternoon,I saw
                                       A young mockingbird
with sere feathers inflated against the cold
                                           His claws were clenched
                                                against the wood
                                            his stance alert.
                                          His head swiveled
                                       and his clear,sharp eyes turned

                                                  And met mine

A little poem.Bye then<3

Back again!

Hellooooooooo my wonderful fabu little victims!!!Well I took another big break from posting because I'm evil but I came back from a vacation to Port Aransas,TX about 2 days ago but I had taken a lot of pictures. Here's a few.How I took these photos was that me and my dad fed them crackers, and they got so hyper about eating crackers that they didn't fly away while I was taking pictures of them...That was awesome...Heh.There's a show on TV called Men Who Swim, and It's about Swedish guys who do synchronized swimming. It scares me.But hey, they're better at doing synchronized swimming than me.afhjgsk.Bye then<3<3<3<3<3<3
P.S:I found a Portuguese Man O'War that had washed ashore and I threw it back into the ocean.I'm a wonderful person, herp derp derp....
