stuff I like.

Hello my victims.
This is a whole bunch of stuff that I like.
1. Gypsy.
2. The piano.
3.My BJD's boots.
4. These things. They're called Emerald Witch dolls and they're made by Girl's World. They're from 1972.
5. A Folkmanis puppet named Reid.
6. Feathers. Going to be used in a weird headress thing I'm brainstorming.
7.Gypsy. Again.
8. A vintage stuffed animal named Bad Cat. I love him.
9. Mmmm.... Green beans.
10. A drawing by moi.
11. Nature. And, of course, the most important thing in the photo-Gypsy. She's in the background.

Yeah, there was more photos then this but Blogger couldn't handle the giant load of files I was giving it. D: sadness.
  Bye bye. Sorry for not posting in a long time,<3<3<3

bleikur tungl

Hello my victims. "Bleikur tungl" means "pink moon" in Icelandic, if you were wondering. Which is exactly what the photos look like. I actually took pictures of the full moon that happened the Saturday night before last and switched it to a Pop art filter on the camera to brighten it a little. The last one is a bit grainy and blurry, but eh, oh well.
 Poem time.

                                           Tunglið og sól
                                    { the moon and sun }
                                      hafa haft bjartari barn

                                    { have had a brighter child }
                                          þá ætti að vera
                                     { then there should be }
                                      Ský kónguló ofan
                                          og í kringum

                                     { clouds spider above, and around }
                                           halda henni öruggt
                                      { keeping her safe, }
                                           Frá kalt kalt nótt
                                       { from the cold, cold night }
                                   Stjörnurnar bíta í the mjúkur skel
                                        { stars bite into the soft shell }
                                                       og fela
                                                  { and hide }
                                           sofa í vaxandi rauðu
                                           { sleep in the growing red }
                                              og við verðum öll sterkari
                                         { and we all become stronger . }
                                                         Icelandic is gorgeous.

Black bird, red bird

Hello my victims. About two weeks ago we traveled to Houston, TX and stayed in a lovely hotel for three days. It was a very nice trip, we went to a wedding along with two art museums and a whole lot more. These two pictures are of a male Boat-tailed Grackle and a young Cardinal who sadly was splayed out near a window looking very dead. Must've hit it and broken its neck. D: buu. I got some good shots of it though. xD The Grackle was in the dining proportion of the Modern art museum and he was eating bits of a breadstick that I had given him. He was slightly distracted by my lens and got annoyed while I was taking photos. I have to say that I'm proud of how the downy feathers on the Cardinal turned out in the third picture.
....Yeah. Sorry for the short post, until next time, bye<333

Turns out my BJD is a crossdresser.

Um, kidding. Sorry buddy.
 Helloooo my victims. This is my BJD(asian Ball-Jointed Doll, here's the wiki page for it, Yuuto. He's a Doll Family Nuada with the default faceup, and he doesn't really have much to wear besides a pair of home-made jeans and a shirt with a weird jacket-vest thing that I made him. So I decided to dress him up like a girl :D pfft he pulled it off pretty well, despite that he 's the opposite gender. He had this kind of angry expression on his face the entire time I was dressing him up, which was very amusing. Oh, and about last post, I couldn't take pictures of Gypsy with the Elizabethan collar. She had it taken off soon afterwards, sooo. If you haven't noticed yet,Yuuto got a pair of fancy new eyes. They're actually one red eye and one blue eye from two different sets, but whatever. I also got him a new wig and eyelashes(to replace the crap eyelashes he has now XD) so as soon as he gets all of that new stuff I'll try to take some photos. And I feel kind of guilty because I haven't bought him any new clothing besides the outfit my mom made him and the weird vest thingy. So I'll probably binge all my money out on some clothes for him. LOL bye.<333

The traumatic Experience of a very bad dog and a chicken named Beauchamp

Hello my victims. I guess there's a lot to tell about this last weekend. Mainly circling around Dog. Alright. On Thursday, I think, our small rat terrier friend walked into the house with a slightly inflamed face. No, seriously. Not slightly, like, really puffed up. She had what looked like ant bites around her chest and armpits, and she was constantly gnawing and itching. It was both amusing and tragic. We thought that she was just having a simple allergic reaction, but it turned out she was a bit more sick than we expected. Even though her swelling went down she started, ehem, barfing and wouldn't get out of her humble bedchambers even for a piece of delectable sausage. This all happened in the span of about three and a half days, and in the early morning of the third day Mom brought her to the vet. She stayed there overnight, while we were anxiously scurrying to outing after outing to occupy our worried minds. We made ourselves sick with delicious Chinese food, got a rather large haul of library books, and spent the rest of the day praying to the dying rain gods of Austin to FREAKING GIVE US RAIN when the sky turned a turbulent gray color. And, of course, with no results. I spent most of my time lying on the floor listening to Bjork music, staring at the wall in a dumb stupor and reading random books from the library. We were all still focused on Dog for most of the time, murmuring worrisome thoughts to each other as the day stretched by languidly. Today, at exactly five-thirty something Mom went to pick up Dog. Apparently Dog was peeved to massive proportions and decided to start screaming at the top of her small dog lungs as the nurses politely carried her out to Mom. She is now home in a pile of pillows, heavily sedated and half-asleep. She is wearing a fashionable Elizabethan collar around her delicate neck,(aka plastic cone of death)and it's humiliating her, she hopes to get it off ASAP. She ate some turkey and dog food safely. She's on the mend.
 In other news, I have a small stuffed chicken I had brought from an art museum we traveled to on Saturday. His name is Beauchamp.
 Bye then<3 (I'll add pictures of Beau and Elizabethan Gypsy to an upcoming post soon.)

Unfortunate Opossums

Hello my victims. These two eye-bleedingly adorable creatures are baby opossums that we... Um... Became acquainted to last week. Well, our neighbors found them in their yard when their psychotic greyhound named Miles and the hulking Afghan hound named Rocco found them in the middle of the night with the opossum's mother, who ran away and left her babies helpless in the grass. One of our neighbors came out and picked them all up with a small shovel, to transport them out of their yard, but they all crawled off and went up onto the fence. The dogs were escorted back to the inside of their house, and unfortunately, Miles was so excited that he apparently lost control of his bowels. All over their house. Um, but anyways, sorry for that slightly grotesque information, moving on. In the morning, at about 7:47, I was called downstairs by my parents who had been informed of all that had happened. One of the opossums was still clinging to the fence(my dad took a picture of it, the photo is posted on my mom's blog)and another was under the pear tree bowing over the fence, who was doing the same. We didn't see the rest until later, when our lovely dog got a hold of one and laid it out delicately on our porch. Thanks, Gypsy. Another one was reported dead, I think, but I forget the causes. We found three in our yard, two nestled together near the fence, and another alone in the taller grass. In the first picture, you can see the other one's muzzle. He was busy trying to feebly hiss at me in an attempt to scare me away, while the other one was curled up tightly and probably trying to pretend he was dead. Same situation with the one on the bottom picture. So, um, yep. Pfft. Pretty morbid.

birds are kind of stupid

 Hello my victimssss. There's like, three million birds in our backyard, as I have discovered by sitting for half an hour in a chair in the middle of the yard. There's pretty much a flock of cardinals that was kind of swirling around me and screaming their heads off. There was a few wrens and sparrows that got really angry at me for no apparent reason and started trying to attack my head, and some mockingbirds that kept answering my random mock bird calls. The one that really got me was this big fat dove that was sitting on a stump in the other yard next to ours. He was doing this thing they do when they're trying to attract a female, where they, um, raise their lower end to the air and flip their tail up and down. I started making a really bad impersonation of a dove's cooing and he noticed me and started edging nearer to my direction. But, come on. Dude, I'm a human, a big giant thing with no fur or feathers who can't fly and doesn't bark, chirp, roar or growl or whatever. HE WAS THAT DESPERATE. So anyways, he thought that I was another dove and wanted to have cute little dove eggs with me. There was another dove that got his attention but he kind of ignored it and it flew away, and he got mad at another one who landed on a twig near him and attacked it. Etc. He was really pitiful though. He was doing his little tail flippy thing for the whole half hour I was sitting out there. I mean seriously, other doves, give the guy a chance. Pfff I guess he'll just stay forever alone.

                 Veins of thoughts rail through my mind
                  The biting sting of boredom bides
                 hands of misapprehension tear frenziedly
                  Bloodied with the bitter wrong
                   Of a desperate grasp, a gallant struggle
                 Screaming with the strangled plea
                   For eminent ideas.
                  Stain the doggerel with disdain
                   Racking the ragged, weary brain
                  Screaming out in deep doldrums
                   For eminent ideas.
                   Tear your sparse hair; insufflate
                    Bleat bloody murder tinged with hate
                      Clasp through gasping coalescense
                          Of infuriating jadedness
                         Reap the mind of all good gist
                           For eminent ideas.
                          Slump upon the blessed cathedra
                            Loosen the rigid appendages
                              Sigh with rattling enervation
                                Unable for further exhaustion.
                                  Still, you seethe amongst your skull
                                  Erratic among the dulcet confines
                                Of the twisted, troubled mind
                                  Battered with the desperate search
                                     For eminent ideas.

lol. I had really bad writer's block before I wrote this. So um. Yeah...

random poem GO

                   she steps into the flourishing terrace
                the burning aubade floodlights her sallow skin
                 she ascends her arms, succumbing into shaking
                  shaking, receding into shaking,
                     to stop the world from
                       spinning; wheeling colors her eyes blink blink
                               like broken headlights
                              "Jessica!Jessica, it's me. Calm down. Stop."
                                      Turn around
                                   Her drawling wails drain away at her throat
                                       Jessica smiles.
                                   "I see you, I see you."
                                       An explosion of boisterous laughter
                                         clinging to his chest
                                       hands twisting into the polyester
                                         rocking and laughing

Hello my victims. This is a random poem about an autistic girl named Jessica. Inspired by a book I read called Mockingbird. Highly recommended. It's about a girl with Asperger's. It's really interesting, especially since it's first person. Very cool book. Ehm. Yes. Anyways.

Bye<3<3 eeeeh short posts for the loose fff ohwell<3<3

caliginous sheath

                                            Satin heavens burst anew
                                             With surging clouds that ebb and flow
                                             Cobalt skies grow golden hued
                                             Whilst a caliginous sheath grows.
                                               Hence the shadows cross the daylight
                                                Ne'er will the birds take flight
                                                Only owls shall fly by night
                                                  Lightning stings and rain will bite
                                                  In the imminent midnight.

pfff this poem is crap. I took this picture and a couple more in the late evening, and it was so weird. The light was actually yellow. Everything looked really... Saturated.

Yes, I'm a hipster. Bye<3

Monday, May 23, 2011

Hello my victims. <3<3 Today I took a few pictures of my doll I made before we went to Boston. His name is Zuriel.(yeah I know, weird name, but it kind of stuck) His body is made from a pillowcase, and his hair is mohair stitched on. As you can see in the bottom picture it was a bit frizzy, I probably need to fix that.... Eh, too lazy... His face is embroidered on. His temporary outfit(which hardly fits him) is a MSD BJD's shirt and Groovy Girl pants. Funny story, when I was standing on a chair to get the box of doll clothing from off my bookshelf, I slipped and whacked the back of my head. It left a very large bruise. Bravo, Allie. Pfff. The shirt fits him fine, I guess, but his pants keep falling off. XD Poem time. Funny, whenever I can't think of anything else to write I always add in a poem. Oh well. Poems are fun. Derp.

                                                    In harmonious curvation
                                                       His head bends down
                                                         Hair crazed and mottled
                                                       Spine sloping
                                                   Gracefully, gorgeously
                                                      His face contorted
                                                         Lips frothing and spitting
                                                       As words string from his mouth
                                                         His voice bides and races out
                                                        Like a poisoned, rabid animal
                                                            rasping and reverberating
                                                    His body arches and contracts
                                             His bloody hands tearing at the strings of the guitar
                                                           He nods towards the audience
                                                    Towards the sea of arms and hands
                                                       Thrusting the microphone
                                                         The sea spits out a body
                                                       Who screams in the lyrics
                                                          Only to be sucked in
                                                             By the scrambling, lashing waves
                                                                 Lights burst through the windows
                                                           Sirens whining through the clamor
                                                                   Rough hands push through the sea
                                                               The waves wash and recede, scattering
                                                                Revealing armed policemen
                                                                      "Everyone's getting out of control,
                                                                            Break it up."
                                                                         His hands drop from his guitar
                                                                           He smiles raggedly, his eyes beam
                                                                              The song is over.

Boston :D

 Hello my victims.  Oh jeez.  A lot to talk about today.  Well, last week my family and me went on a GINORMOUS vacation to Boston, MA.  Okay, so it wasn't that long (a week pfff).  But it seemed like it to me.  I'm a travel N00b.  We went on a plane, which is another first for me and it was really awesome except for that it gave me a headache.  Me and Pat were like giggling insanely on one flight and probably annoyed the heck out of everyone a short distance away from where we were sitting.  LOL.  Anyways, we stayed in a tiny house in the North End called a spite house, otherwise referred to as "Skinny House."  It was, um, skinny.  We kept randomly bumping our heads on stuff.  A little ways down the street was a bakery called Bova's, and we went there every freaking day, which kind of got sickening after a while.  There was the USS Constitution, this big wooden ship.  Yeah pretty descriptive, right?  But really, it was cool.  Go read my brother's blog if you want extra knowledge on it.  I'm too lazy to write about a giant wooden boat.  Ehem.  There was also an aquarium.  That was pretty awesome because there was penguins that were really, really loud.  I'm not kidding.  This species called the Fairy penguin, the tiniest species of penguin on earth, had this combination of a shrieking cat crossed with a donkey and the sound of rusted metal scratching on a chalkboard, autotuned.  But somehow, all of that added to their penguiny charm.   There was this one Rockhopper penguin that got mad at one of the people feeding them and started biting her feet. It was amusing. We also went to a modern art museum. There was a really good exhibit about records, and this one display set up about this guy: My mom was totally cracking up about it. Okeydoke that was a quick summary of our Boston vacation, too lazy to write anything else asdfghj. XD bye<3<3

fingers trace

Helloooo my victims. I took a few pictures today of a bee eating a mulberry and a firewheel flower. I also got a Facebook account. Yep.ANYWAYS yesterday I went to Dragon's Lair with one of my friends to learn how to play D&D (AKA Dungeons and Dragons) and it was, uh, interesting. I had a pretty good time besides the fact that the gaming room smelled like rotting fish, and they failed to cover it up with heavy air freshener. Meh. Here's a poem.

        Fingers trace
       Athwart the scabrous surface
    of the splintered
      school desk
  like the spilled lukewarm coffee
in slopping disgorge
running from the upturned mug like a dark river

   full of dregs

Derp. I don't know why I wrote that poem because I don't even go to school so LOL.
Okay bai <3<3<3

Portraits of flowers

Why hello my victims. Oh jeezus I put a lot of pictures on today.... Ah well. I was in the mood. There's a bit of a drought going on, so it hasn't rained in foreverrr. That's why there isn't enough flowers for the bees to drink nectar out of, which means that they have to eat the mulberry juice. There's mulberries all over are porch so now we have bees all over our porch because of that. For some reason I think it's slightly cute watching them drinking out the nectar. Uhm.  Oh yes and the top picture is either the mark of a squished mulberry or bird crap. And the second picture is my dog. I dunno. But yes anyways. WATCH THIS.

 Let's pretend we're in Antarctica~
bye <3

Tuesday, April 12, 2011

Hello my victims. I took a couple pictures today that turned out all right but the second one is a bit bright. It was pretty sunny outside today so yep. Ehhh, I woke up to a significant feeling of someone punching me in the stomach repeatedly. YAY FOR CRAMPS. Pshhh. Anyhoo. Here's a poem.

        Bend down to the undergrowth
           the lens crackling and shifting
       adjusting  to the coruscating sun
             focus, biding pressure
              it's captured
          in one
       f i n a l
                                                                                                                                                     Bye <3

spring has sprung

Hello my victims.Like I said in the title,spring has,uh,sprung.Pretty much everything in our yard is green.It's pretty cool.Besides the fact that I can hardly take two steps outside without becoming an allergic mess.As I've complained about in previous posts.The rosebush in our middle garden is kind of an explosion right now.Like every limb has a flower.Same with the mulberry tree,and last year when our friends were over they ate the mulberries right off the tree.I tasted one and it didn't taste like anything,and it made my mouth insanely itchy.Not doing that again any time soon.BYE<3

Sunday, April 3, 2011

                          everything is beautiful

you just have to look at it the right way
